ok so personally i just dont get these big bold rediculous "totem poles". i understand that anything can be art these days but really. they are just ugly. the two on the left have sprouted in the commons at school, as part of the faculty show going on right now. this one on the right is part of a set of what like 4, which are up along 11th at jamison square. this city has some strange public art (hmm.. more pics to come on that note!?!) this is a great little park for kids so maybe the purpose of this public art is to umm make kids smile or go running in fear.. the one on the corner looks like a happy meal exploded!
